Hi, I am Erin, the owner and principal designer at Necessary Interiors. As far back as I can remember I have always loved making things beautiful, and being aware of how I felt in certain spaces. Fast forward through many different career paths and here I am turning my love of beauty and design into something I can share.

 

As a hands on designer I work best when I can be involved with all aspects of the design process from hand picking materials, meeting and selecting contractors to managing job sites and installations. This is an added benefit to my clients who can relax and enjoy the process.

 

I like to let the architecture of the house and how the client wants to feel in it drive the design. I take an intuitive approach rather than an overarching grand design plan. One of my favorite parts of design is hunting for just the right piece of furniture or decor to complete a space whether that is sourcing new or vintage, this process often takes time but I believe the outcome is worth it in the end. I want my clients to have a functional, timeless, beautiful space that is cozy, eclectic, and unique to them and how they live.
